hace mucho que no subia un dibujo asi, a linea...y esta es mi propuesta para el blog semanal (o lo que sea) belleza distraida, que llevo con unos amigos. El tema era sexo, drogs y rocknroll....es bastante simple, xo a mi me mola :D

Its been a while since i last posted an actual doodle...this one i did it for the weekly (whatever) blog that i keep with my friends (belleza distraida). Our theme this time was sex, drugs and rocknroll...i dunno how i came up with this one...its quite simple, but i like it!

Nacimiento-New born.

Hace mucho que no subo nada, pero es que estoy fatal de tiempo y ademas no tengo internet en casa ahora mismo! lo siento chicos! en fin...os dejo con este hadita que hice en clase de photoshop,a modo de ilustracion libre. me costo un poco, pero al final me gusta mucho el resultado, espero que a vosotros tambien!

It´s been a while since i last updated anything, but i´ve been crazy busy and i dont have an internet conection right now at home... sorry guys!...anyhow i leave u with this little new born fairy! it was a class project (free illustration) and it was a bit hard at first, but i´m really happy with the final result! hope you are too!

Se que hace mucho mucho que no subo nada, asi que ya iba siendo hora de actualizar un poco! os dejo con un "collage" realizado enteramente con photoshop. espero que os guste, yo me lo pase muy bien haciendolo y aprendi un monton!

I know it's been a while since the last time i publish anything....it was a lazy summer! but here's new update! an illustration created entirely with Photoshop. i was going for a "collage" style. I really hope u like it! i sure had a great time while working on it :D

cuento infantil-children stories!

Se que no he subido mucho ultimamente, pero esque en esta epoca ando muy ocupada! os dejo con unas ilustraciones para cuento infantil. La historia es muy sencillita y todas las ilustraciones son un encargo semanal. Quiero currarmelas mas este verano, asiq ya os subire la version final a principios del nuevo curso! aun asi espero que os guste.

it's been a while since i last updated the blog, but i've been busy like a bee!!! i leave you with some illustrations for a little kid's story. It's a really simple tale, and i had too do all 5 illustartions in just a week...i intend to create better ones based on the same characters and everything...but's gonna happend along this summer so u'll have to wait a bit to see the final thing done! still hope you like it :D

Yes, the end of the school year's coming up, and i should be working on all my stressful class projects. But i needed some "me" time and i used it to work out this colorful crazyness!! Hope you people like it!

De nuevo un reto semanal (cada vez mas bisemanal) de belleza distraida (www.noesfealdad.blogspot.com) . El tema era Romeo y Julieta ...y yo me inspire un poco en el habiente mas moderno de la peli de Dicaprio. La verdad que al final estoy bastante contenta con el resultado, aunque lo hice un poco rapidillo. Espero que os guste!




Here's another weekly drawing for the blog i share with my friends (www.noesfealdad.blogspot.com). The theme was Romeo and Juliet...and i got inspired by the modern ambientation of Dicaprio's movie. I'm pretty pleased with the final result, even tho it was done pretty quickly....hope u enjoy it!

Just a quickie for the weekly blog i keep with my friends....the topic: draw our selves as if we were a fiction character or super heroe. I went for the Kim Possible style (because every girl wants to be as cool as she is and have a friend with a bald rat!)...somehow i managed to give myself one ENORMOUS eyebrow....

Os dejo con una ilustracion editorial. Yo escogi un tema infantil, concretamente el cuento de la princesa y el guisante. la version de la izquierda es el original (acuarelas) simplemente escaneado; la de la derecha lleva unos retoques de photoshop...basicamente dandole una vuelta diferente al fondo!

Here's a new ed. illustration. I chose a child's story for this one, the tale of the princess and the pea!! The princess on the left its the original (watercolors), and the other one its a slightly photoshoped vesion of it. Hope you people like it!

Cual es cual?? esta vez os dejo con un nuevo trabajillo. Consistia en renovar la portada de un libro antiguo y hacerla mas atractiva al publico actual....no se yo si lo he conseguido mucho...espero que os guste.

Which is which?? I leave you with a new class project. We had to pick and old comic book and try to renovate the cover, make it more appealing for todays public.....not so sure it worked out that well...but i still hope you like it!

Os dejo (por fin!) con mi imagen publicitaria. Supuestamente es para una nueva colonia que utiliza la imagen de Penelope Cruz. La verdad que en un principio no me entusiasmaba la idea, pero al final he quedado contenta con el resultado. Espero que tambien os guste a vosotros! por cierto la imagen de la chica es de cosecha propia, gracias a mi amiga Lucia por posar, la tengo mareada con mis proyectos!


I can finally leave you with my publicitary image. The idea was to create a campaing to announce new fragance by Penelope Cruz. Truth is, i wasn't so thrilled with the idea (i dont really like Penelope that much), but i'm pretty fond of the final result. hope you guys like it too! by the way, the girls image comes from a picture i took of my friend Lucia. Hacia tiempo que no dejaba por aqui nada nuevo....y por fin he rescatado este fondo que hice en clase de color en acrilicos. Esta inspirado en el barrio de la Boca, en Buenos Aires. Me encantaria poder vvir en un sitio asi de colorido!!

It's been a while since i last updated the blog....and i finally rescued this background that i painted in my color class. It's all done in acrylics, and it was inspired by the neighbourhood of Boca, in Buenos Aires. I wish i could live in such a colorful place!!

De momento no tengo nuevos dibujillos, pero os dejo con otra tanda de fotografias. Son todas retartos y casi todas de estudio, menos la segunda. Para las del chico tuve mucha suerte....el es mi amigo Taylor y es modelo profesional! me dejo hacerle unas fotillos y me dio unos buenos consejos!

Right now i cant upload new pictures, but i leave you with some photos. There are all portraits and most of them were taken in a studio, except the second one. I got lucky with the last ones: the model is my friend Taylor, who actually models for fashion firms and magazines! he let me take some shoots of him and gave me some usefull tips!!

Gallito de pelea-Fighting cock

Os presento a mi primera Pin Up! Varios de clase nos dividimos el horoscopo chino y a mi me tocaron el gallo, el perro y el dragon. Aqui os dejo la primera de la serie...segun vaya terminando el resto als ire subiendo tambien. Espero que os guste ^^:




This is my first Pin Up!! some kids from the school and I decided to divide among us the 12 animals from the chinease horoscope. I ended up with the rooster, the dog and the dragon. I leave you with the first of the series, i'll post the other two once i get them done and colored. hope you like it ^^.

Miscelanea

Os dejo ahora con una miscelanea de fotos que hice en NYC ...hay un poco de todo, con distintas sensibilidades de pelicula y distintos tipos de grano....era Halloween, de ahi las calabazas, los disfraces....Y EL SUPER PERRO!!! me enamore de el en Central Park!!! La unica retocada por ordenador es la la del maniqui con el renito.

I leave you know with a miscelanea of photos ...I took them all in NYC during the halloween weekend...hence the pumpkins, the costumes...AND SUPER DOG! i fell in love with him at Central Park!! I decided to post a bit of everything, i used diferent film sensibilities and brands, and some of them turned out to be really grainny!! ho only one that has been photoshoped is the 3rd one.

Mis primeras fotos!-My first pics!

Ademas del dibujo, mi otra gran pasion es la Fotografia. La verdad que me encantaria poder dedicarme a algo que tenga que ver con ello o al menos estudiar el tema en mayor profundidad! Aunque la verdad es que ahora mismo no me queda demasiado tiempo para poder dedicarselo...lo mismo cuando termine la escuela!

Apart from Desing, my other passion is photography. Truth is i would like to dedicate my life to something that involves photo or at least make it become a grater part of it...but right now i (saddly!) dont really have the time for it :( ...maybe when i'm done with school!

Esto fue uno de mis primerisimos trabajos en un curso super cortito de foto que segui en Estados Unidos...es basicamente un estudio de iluminacion con maniqui...mi primer MORTI!

This was one of my vey first assignments in a real short photo course i took in the USA. It was basically a light study with a manequin.

Estoy aun intentando ponerme al dia con la carpetilla para clase de dibujo....esta vez he terminado un fondillo!! de momento solo voy a hacer este a color...si veo en un par de semanillas tengo otro hueco...=me pongo con el otro en vez de dejarlo a linea:

I'm still trying to catch up with my drawing class...today i finished a background! i have another one , but i dont think i'll color it...unless i have some extra time i can spare....which wont be in at least 2 or 3 more weeks!! hope you like it

Geisha

Esta lamina la empece en clase el curso pasado (lo que es el arbolillo de detras jeje) pero la acabe en verano..asique no muchos la habreis visto terminada!...esta hecha en acuarela y aqui queda un poco oscura porque los colores son tan delicados que al escanerala se perdian mucho si no subia el contraste un pelin...aun asi espero que os guste!

I started this one last year in class...but i finished it during the summer...and just saw it sitting in a drawer! it was made in watercolors and because the colors were so light i had to improve the contrast with photoshop....the result is not so good, since the final sheet looks pretty dark...hope you like it anyhow!

En esta ocasion os dejo con mis particulares piezas para un juego de ajedrez. (otro ejercicio para clase de dibujo). En realidad estan las piezas principales porque los peones no estan montados en la composicion....aun asi espero que os guste!

This time i leave you with my "special" chess figures (another class excercise). There's one figure missing..the pawn!!! it didnt quite fit into the composition so i've decided to leave him out of it...even tho i certainly drew it and photoshoped it! hope you like it.

Podia ser para una pelicula, una obra de teatro, un musical...y a mi me parecio buena idea buscarle un nuevo giro a Alicia en el Pais de las Maravillas y asi alejarla un poco del publico infantil...para mi es un libro totalmente para adultos!!! Ademas me dio la oportunidad de trastear con los acrilicos utilizando una tecnica de veladuras nueva para mi

This time its a promotional poster. We had to choose a movie, a play, a musical...something along those lines. I thought it would be a perfect oportunity to try and give Alice a new perspective, make it something and adult would enjoy...cause really...I dont think Alice its a just another children story!! Also it gave me the excuse to play a bit with the acrylics and try a new technique with them.
